Who is it suitable for?

This tool is suitable for people who struggle with worry, anxiety, stress, physical ailments or fatigue. The main focus is on how to deal with uncertainty, thoughts and catastrophic thoughts, and not least thoughts about everything that could happen. The tool is aimed at people who struggle with worry/anxiety about what could go wrong.

What does the coping tool contain?

The tool helps you understand and work with worry, rumination, and the need for control – and empowers you to make more conscious choices in the face of uncertainty. It consists of six parts:

  1. Control
You will learn what worry and rumination are, and how our attitudes towards uncertainty affect how we feel. You will become familiar with the anxiety reaction and begin the work of setting goals for the future.
  2. My project
You explore what drives your worrying thoughts – often it’s about trying to control the uncontrollable. You reflect on what «projects» you have in life and how useful they really are.
  3. Attitudes
You will decide what can and cannot be controlled in life, and consider your own attitudes towards worry and rumination. You will also receive an initial introduction to exposure as a method of dealing with anxiety.
  4. Strategies
You will identify the strategies you use to deal with uncertainty – and learn alternative, more appropriate ways. You will also learn a technique for postponing worry and giving less space to the mind-wandering.
  5. Choice
You practice distinguishing between thoughts and reality, and become aware that you can choose how you relate to your thoughts – and what kind of life project you want to take with you.
  6. Forward
You summarize what you have worked on and reflect on what you want to practice further. You are supported in creating a plan for further development, and reminded that lasting change happens over time.

It was very clear and easy to understand. Nice variation between reading, seeing/hearing and doing.»

«"Very good clarification regarding the type of anxiety one has, this was very well described. I used to think I had panic disorder, but I have learned that it is social anxiety."»

«"It was so GOOD to sit and read! I didn't feel so weird anymore, the online course normalized me.".

«"Liked that it's educational, in a way that makes the basic knowledge behind anxiety easy to understand. Also like the warm words along the way."»

«"An understanding of how the "whole" is connected. A tool for help. I think it all worked very well, and I am very happy with the knowledge I have gained from it. The course gives me room to reflect on the "complex" that I have not previously done. Now it is beginning and I am well on my way in the right direction. Many thanks for the great help and a tool for the rest of my life!!!"«
