Who is it suitable for?

Burnout, too much stress over time and strain is characterized by becoming exhausted much faster than usual. This tool helps you become aware of what you are thinking and doing, as well as what will help you cope and reduce stress and pressure from both yourself and others.

What does the coping tool contain?

The tool provides you with insights and tools to understand, manage and prevent stress and burnout. It consists of six parts:

  1. Stress
An introduction to stress reactions and the balance between demands and resources. You will learn about the difference between short-term and long-term stress, and will be given the SOAL exercise to become more aware of thoughts and feelings.
  2. Burnout
You will learn to recognize signs of burnout, and how your own expectations and lack of control can contribute to overload. The tool provides strategies for managing both external demands and internal reactions.
  3. Activity
You map your energy use and activities that give or drain you of energy. The focus is on finding balance and regaining contact with energizing activities, including movement and breaks.
  4. Borders
You practice setting boundaries and asserting your rights in a clear and respectful way. The HUS method helps you speak up without feeling guilty – and strengthens your self-esteem.
  5. Concerns
You will learn to manage rumination and worry through specific techniques such as “thinking offices” and distancing yourself from ruminative thoughts. The goal is to create more calm and presence in everyday life.
  6. Prevention
You summarize what you have learned, create a plan for the way forward, and access the tool bank for further support. Regular use of the content strengthens the effect over time.

The course gives me room to reflect on the "complex" that I have not previously done. Now it is beginning and I am well on my way in the right direction.
