SELF-ESTEEM
- Techniques for mastering self-esteem
- 6 parts, control your own pace
- For mobile, tablet or computer
- Psychologist developed
The tool focuses on increasing awareness of what underlies low self-esteem. Some people have a more prominent feeling of being worthless, or lack the ability to see their own qualities and abilities. High self-esteem is one of the factors that best protects against mental illness and low self-esteem is a common denominator in many mental health disorders. Low self-esteem is often about experiences and thought patterns that have been incorporated over a long period of time. The starting point is "rules of living", and exploration of the origins of established mindsets and behaviors. The tool addresses the concepts of self-compassion and self-assertion, which are useful exercises for increasing self-esteem. We look at what affects it, and what can help change it. The user can, among other things, learn more about setting boundaries and what qualities are important to look for in people they choose to spend time with.

Who is it suitable for?
This tool is suitable for those of you who want to know more about self-esteem, what affects it, and what can change it. It is actually possible!
What does the coping tool contain?
The tool provides you with insights and exercises to strengthen your self-esteem through reflection, relationships, and clear boundaries. It consists of six parts:
- Self-esteem
You will learn what self-esteem is, how it is formed, and how unrealistic life rules can create stress. Cognitive therapy is used to change negative thought patterns and build more realistic self-assessments. - Relationships
You will see how self-esteem is affected by relationships and belonging. You will learn to work with self-image and self-confidence, and how small goals, support and acceptance can make a difference. - Living rules
You will map out basic rules of life that govern thoughts and behavior, and learn how to replace inappropriate rules with new ones that promote mental health and freedom. - Self-compassion
You practice meeting yourself with care in difficult situations. Exercises help you curb self-criticism, deal with shame, and accept praise – which in turn strengthens self-esteem. - Borders
You learn to set boundaries and assert your own rights – even when it is demanding. The HUS method provides structure for how you can communicate needs and protect yourself with confidence. - Prevention
You summarize what you have learned and create a plan to take care of yourself going forward. The toolkit provides support to continue your development and prevent relapse.

The course gives me room to reflect on the "complex" that I have not previously done. Now it is beginning and I am well on my way in the right direction. Many thanks for the great help and a tool for the rest of my life!!!"«
